Description
When enforcing the by-laws against owners or occupiers, Owners Corporations may incur costs including:
- additional strata management fees
- additional building management fees
- costs of trades or contractors required to remedy damage to property
- legal fees
This by-law empowers your Owners Corporation to recover these costs (referred to as “Breach Costs” and “Enforcement Costs”) from the owner or occupier in breach, ultimately permitting the Owners Corporation to charge the costs to the lot account and recover them in the same way as unpaid levies.
