Description
Often, buildings are aware that a range of different types of renovation work has been carried out within various strata lots without legal approval. While the owners corporation may be happy for the work to remain in place, it should ensure that the lot owner has legally taken responsibility for the work and any common property affected by it. Where different owners may have carried out different types of work over a period of time (eg: bathroom renovations, awning installations, air conditioning installations, balcony enclosures) it is legally possible for all of those works to be approved under one by-law – if you use this template as a guide.
