This by-law permits an owners corporation’s legal disposal of goods left behind on the common property – in accordance with the procedure set out in the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW)
Description
Items illegally stored on the common property, or left behind by long gone tenants, can cause frustration for strata committees, building managers and residents. This by-law prohibits the storage of items on the common property without the written consent of the strata committee. It also empowers the owners corporation to dispose of or sell abandoned goods, following the procedure set out in the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW).
