Matthew Waugh of Conexie joins me to explain the software that’s allowing strata occupants to monitor their energy usage in real-time, while their owners corporation puts money in the bank (for the not-so-sunny days).

Listen out for your chance to join my free webinar on Thursday 29 April, where I’ll cover the legal steps to be taken to get solar up and running in your building.

  1. I don’t believe anyone can beat me with my energy bill. The last one was $57.14. I installed a solar water heater in 1996 with all the approvals.
Amanda as you well know some members of our strata were going to force me to remove it last year because according to them and our Strata Manager I did not have the approval from the OC.
Luckily I had a copy of the approval from Waverley Council and you helped get the copy from the OC from the council that I did not have.
We need Fair Trading to let the Councils be in charge of our natural environment instead of Fair Trading not being able protect us as consumer in Strata schemes because it has too much on its plate.

Thanks Amanda for your advise on the matter.

  2. Our strata property consists of 3 townhouses, 1 stand-alone (mine) and 1 Duplex, covered by a cubic strata title. I intend to install solar panels on my roof. What are the implications?

    1. Hi Petra,

Thank you for posting your question! Amanda will definitely cover your question on the solar webinar so see you online on Thurday. 🙂

      Regards,

      Rchelle
