In this week’s short [10 min] episode, I’m sharing with you part of my presentation delivered to owners in Sydney’s Walsh Bay, where I covered off they key changes to the law when it comes to strata meetings, including electronic voting, timing of the AGM, quorum rule, proxies, explanatory notes for agendas. Listen out for your access to my paper on the topic.

  1. Hi Amanda, you speak so well, clearly and slowly. You would make a fab lecturer. So easy to follow. I learnt one thing: those explanatory notes to motions are only applicable/required for owner-initiated motions. The SCA produced drafting Motions under the new legislation and each motion included notes. I must take that to the next PSC meeting. Will reduce page length of AGM papers by a proverbial mile.
    Thanks again . Michele
