Mandatory committee training starts on 1 October 2026. Is your process ready?

From 1 October, every elected strata committee member in NSW has to complete Fair Trading’s online training within three months of being appointed. If they don’t, they automatically stop being a committee member. There’s no vote and no notice required.

The law puts that obligation on each committee member personally. But owners and committees will turn to their strata manager with the questions: What do I have to do? When’s my deadline? Am I still on the committee?

This pack gives you the letters, the tracking and the paper trail to answer them, so you’re not drafting from scratch or relying on memory to know whose three months are nearly up.
