  • Hello Amanda. Is it right that you need a 75% special resolution in favour of prohibiting STRA in NSW?

    • Hi Natalie, under NSW strata law, a by-law can prevent a person from short term letting if the property they are letting is not their principal place of residence. A special resolution is required to make a by-law. A special resolution is achieved if no more than 25% of the unit entitlement, present and voting at a general meeting, votes against the motion.
