When Ada Wong (Lane Cove Council) and Susan Chen (Willoughby City Council) looked at the results of their biennial Community Wellbeing Survey, they saw some interesting data from apartment residents, leading them to produce a “Meet Your Neighbours” toolkit. In this chat, they’re sharing those survey results and access to the free toolkit.
In NSW can an owners corporation actually fund community events?
In Victoria we can’t unless by special resolution the OC agrees to provide that service to members.
However, I do like the idea of turning the compliance activities into a community event – eg fire drill, waste management – they can be funded
