Get amongst the vines with strata lawyer Amanda Farmer and her special guest speakers at a 1-Day CPD Event like no other.
Awarded Australia’s top tourism town 2 years in a row and an easy 3.5 hr drive from Sydney, Mudgee is the perfect place to escape the strata stress and focus on YOU: your expertise, your growth, and your connections.
Event capacity is strictly limited, so secure your spot now.
Your CPD hours are mandatory, but they don’t have to be mind-numbing. Amanda brings her famous “no holds barred” teaching style to the day, delivering exactly what you need to know. No sponsors, no trade booths, just top-quality education.
You’ve been working hard. It’s time for a fresh point of view. In Mudgee, you’ll find space for new ideas and energy. Inspired by the beautiful surrounds, you’ll lay the foundation for 2024 to be your best year ever.
You prioritise your connections with other high-achieving strata professionals who also take the time to invest in themselves and their expertise, for the benefit of their clients AND the profession as a whole. We’ve created an exclusive space for precisely these connections.
Over one day, class 1 and 2 licensed strata managers will tick off the required 4 hours of training on the compulsory topics in our small group interactive training environment.
Amanda Farmer has a record of training excellence in the strata sector, having educated strata managers, strata owners and various stakeholders for over 20 years.
Amanda’s special guest speakers will also share their varied perspectives and valuable first-hand experience, extending the opportunity for you to learn from colleagues facing the exact same challenges you are.
Your classroom for the day is The Barn at Blue Wren Farm.
An 8-minute drive from Mudgee town centre, in this picturesque learning environment you’ll feel far removed from the burdens of our troubled high rises.
Wander the gardens in between sessions, and enjoy a delicious menu of seasonal local produce. We’ve got morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea covered for you, plus all-day refreshments.
Once the day’s learning has wrapped up, it’s time to move on to Lowe Family Wine Co., a certified organic and biodynamic farm, vineyard, winery and food garden.
We’ve secured The Pavilion at Lowe for the evening’s celebrations, where country charm meets premium regional food and wine. Your all-inclusive 3-course banquet has been carefully curated by executive chef Kim Currie with free flowing Lowe wines.
As you’re treated to the talents of our local musicians, watch the sun go down against the stunning landscape and slip into the weekend – which is yours to spend exploring Mudgee, its 35+ cellar doors, gourmet dining experiences, walking trails, boutique shopping and more.
To show our appreciation for trusting us with your education, every attendee will receive a special gift, from us to you.
From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll not only be immersed in valuable insights and connections, but also treated to this tangible reminder of our commitment to your enjoyment and enrichment.
This gift is our way of saying thank you for being a part of this – our inaugural – Mudgee CPD Event.

Having worked in executive level positions in some of the state’s largest strata management companies, in 2016 Reena opened Strata Central. Amanda is the owner of Lawyers Chambers, a strata-focussed legal practice in Sydney, as well as the host of the popular long-running podcast Your Strata Property: the world’s only podcast dedicated to explaining the legal complexities of strata-titled properties. A Fellow and Council member of the Australia College of Strata Lawyers, Amanda is a leading strata professional and fierce advocate for strata owners
Michael is a strata researcher, consultant, author, and training presenter. Michael argues that for better strata living outcomes the strata sector should look more to cultural changes from within than demanding more and increasingly complex law reform. He says laws don’t change attitudes. Attitudes only change when strata leaders adopt modern community expectations and high standards.
Nicole is the director of Strata Knowledge, an independent research and consulting firm specialising in strata and community title law and governance. Nicole is a regular presenter at industry conferences, consults with governments, and has chaired numerous international forums. She is also an experienced body corporate committee member having chaired a large scheme for more than 13 years.
My family and I moved from Bondi to Mudgee in May 2021. I’ve been lucky enough to lead my Sydney strata law practice from this beautiful part of our country since then.
Wide open spaces, fresh country air, a thriving food and wine scene: Mudgee does not disappoint. I’m thrilled to be able to bring my fellow strata professionals to Mudgee for a day of learning and connection.
I have carefully curated the CPD education I know you’ll love. If you’ve ever experienced my teaching style, you’ll know it’s about as far from “conservative lawyer” as you can get. Demystifying the legal complexities of strata living is at the heart of everything I do, and I’ve made it my mission to empower our strata managers with practical skills and up-to-date knowledge, because I know it is through YOU that the experience of strata owners is improved.
I’ve had so much fun choosing the venues, food and wine that we’re going to share together. I absolutely can’t wait to welcome you to Mudgee!
